Fitness Studio

Our Fitness studio has a good range of equipment; as we replace equipment we purchase pieces suitable for able bodied and disabled people.. There is air conditioning to make the area more comfortable to work out in the summer months.

Who can use the fitness studio?
Anyone over 14 years can use the fitness studio, you just have to attend an induction which costs £17.35, which includes 2 free workout sessions; thereafter you decide whether you "pay as you go" or use one of the money saving options for frequent users. The induction will show you how to use the machines and the instructor will prepare a programme to get you on the road to whatever goals you might set yourself,. Instructors can also help you with advice on nutrition if this is of help to you. There are offf peak prices at weekends.

There is a good mix of ages and backgrounds in the fitness studio We don't fit the image people often have of gyms full of fit young people, you don't have to be fit to get fit.. For those who want a social outlet, some users organise social activities away from the Centre.

For those who don't want to work out alone, there are organised classes in the fitness studio on Tuesday 1.30 - 2.30pm and Thursday morning 10 - 11am called Body Tone, led by our qualified Fitness instructors.

We have a GP referral system set up with the Hadleigh Surgery and the Ipswich Hospital for people who have high blood pressure, obesity, depression or other conditions or disabilities that would be improved if their fitness was encouraged. Ask your Doctor about this if you think you would benefit from the extra support that goes along with this programme.

Sports Halls

The Barn (main sports hall)
We have a large sports hall that is used for Badminton, 5-a-side Football, Netball, Table Tennis, Basketball, Dance, Carpet Bowls and many other sports. The hall can be hired as a large unit or as Badminton court sized units.

The Gymnasium (smaller hall)
This hall is used as one Badminton court, for exercise classes, Karate, Trampolining, Gymnastics and Dance.

Both halls can be booked up to one week in advance for casual bookings which can be for sport or non sporting.

Clubs can request a block booking if a slot is available, that saves paying VAT and keeps their slot, in return they have to book at least 10 sessions without more than 2 weeks gap and the club must be affilliated to the governing body including insurance.

Outside sports and activities

Floodlit multi-games hard court area MAA

Grass Pitches
